"Low"-Adventure Week

This week is going to be "low" adventure week. It would typically be called High-adventure week for the young men in the church here but they opted to plan a less adventurous week due to the restrictions in place when plans were made...some of the older guys were very disappointed (including Marshall but he gets his own high-adventure this summer) with this plan but we are making the best of it we can.

The week was started with an Olympic theme friendly competition field day which Zach and his Quorum were ibn charge of. We had a torch lighting and flag ceremony and events included Archery tag, Gaga ball (we built a redneck pit for it out of pallets), water-balloon volleyball, ultimate frisbee, and a race/treasure hunt. There were side events like a team ski race, and relay races while the teams competed.

During the week we had many other events like a 20 mile bike rider and pool party in Vancover/Portland (I rode a barrowed trike for the 1st time),  a service clean-up at the local state parks, and lake day with more water craft sections than attending boys.

This was a pretty packed week because Mommy was finishing her last clinic days and we also were preparing for our trip to Alaska. This week we found a free fridge from a neighbor and moved some flooring around and tons of other things so I might need to come back and fill in some details but it was a very full week!
