Spring has Sprung

Ever since we have moved to Washington Mommy has always wanted a cherry blossom tree in her yard. Daddy wanted the fruit one...When we moved into this house I didn't know mommy was getting her wish. That tree, like the kiwi tree (yeah, pretty cool) in the back yard, are both planted on the neighbors side but we get some fringe benefits.

Bought a mountain bike of craigslist for Mommy and the family went for a ride around the neighborhood and stopped at the airstrip. We also hiked down to town and back up the hill on Saturday. We think the kids would be hard pressed to make it from the school before the water got them so we need a bit more training.

Going swimming at the Y on Fridays is becoming a tradition. Marshal made his 1st attempt at passing his swim test but didn't quite make it yet...He did learn it is harder than it looks but he will make it soon.

Had game night with the Unsickers Friday night and the Orc hordes won Castle Panic and Mommy and Daddy tied in Carcassonne. Both events have never happened before.

Zachery earned his Bobcat and some belt loops at the scout blue and gold banquet/carnival.
Marshall earned a citizenship pin.

Madison, Millie and Eleanore exchanged books with the family at Reading Night at the School.
