We have officially moved into the new house (thank goodness for early occupancy) but have not been able to seal the deal on the other one completely yet. The plan was to close on the house last Friday but the buyers needed an extension. This Friday should be the end of the wait. We hope....
The last week was killer...moving is brutal on the nerves and pocket book. The kids loved eating out the dozen times we had to but Mommy and Daddy could go without the McGurgles and Pizzabutt for a bit. It was super nice when we got unpacked enough for Mommy to make some SUPER GOOD STEW! (Seriosly the best I can ever remember)
The new place is exactly what we need, no more, no less.
Mommy is getting library cards tomorrow (that is the offical moment we call ourselves part of a comunity...and she i liking her new (but a bit smaller) kitchen,
Daddy is loving work and commuting on the new (to me off craigslist) SECA 900,
Kids think their new teachers are "AWESOME!", and the girls at home are fine with playing with empty moving boxes.
We went to church 1 week and then got callings this morning. So much for flying under the radar for a few months...
Watched this week: Going Postal, BBC Movie...not as good as the book but no movie ever is...
