This means war.

For the past few weeks we have watched molehills spring up all around our yard. It started as 2 little hills right by the road but over the holidays they must have found a local dealer for steroids and speed because the little guys had about 15 of the mini volcanoes erupting in the lawn before things got serious this weekend. I thought the new landscapers added to the redneck features I have been trying to promote in the neighborhood but Mommy thought the crater pocked yard look like something from a war zone. Political pressure outside of this Commander and Chief's powers brought our little country to declare war on these invaders.

It was quite interesting to see the assortment of death delivery options I had to choose from for this campaign. I went with the only one in the arsenal that you could light a fuse with. We will see if it worked...For now all is quiet on the western front.

  • The gospel is true but 1 pm church is of the devil. Eleanore has been a rat all day.
  • The boys are back in school this week. Zachery has a B-day coming up here. He wanted squirrel stew for his dinner but I think he is going to get vetoed.
Food of the week: Chipotle Chicken and Mommy's whirly-popcorn.

The girls curled their hair this morning and wanted a picture taken...so pretty.

Immediately resorting to violence is never the answer. Have you tried sending a strongly worded letter of censure? What about trade embargos? Maybe you could appoint one of your children as an emissary to negotiate a peace treaty.

The second born was delegated for the peace summit. He embarked early one morning and by night fall he was enlisted in the enemies army. he was last seen popping his head up from the dirt holes chattering at us in a linguistic dielectric that could only be described as "rodent-esk".
