This too shall pass...

Fun times here...Mommy had here birthday. It can be rough when it lands on a conference weekend but she is a good sport about it.

It's his own fault but Daddy had kind of a brutal week....2 words cover it. Kidney Stones. No long term concerns. He just kept himself under-hydrated for several years.  Dumb, dumb, dumb. Drink your water people. Worst pain I ever felt in my life. It really could have been avoided but I am so grateful for modern medicine.

Fixed the phones busted screen.

Rachel and Sam are visiting and we have had some fun evenings with them. The kids took a cardboard box and made a "rocket ship" out of it one night during a hotdog roast. Funny how it can be the little things they get the biggest kick out of.

Mommy missed her RS service auction activity yesterday but we had some fun later picking up a few boxes of apples and nectarines and decorating pumpkins at a community event.

 Fall is upon us. We are doing great. Kids are loving school. Mommy is enjoying having the girls at home during the day and work for daddy is actually survivable.
