Down and Derby

The kids had this week off school for Mid-Winter Break. It meant they had plenty of time to get into trouble. Thing 1 designed and built his pine wood derby car during the week too and we went to his race on Saturday. He named his car the Rhino Racer and took 3rd place in the races and won "Best Detail" with his spoiler and custom designed through-hood supercharger intake manifold.

Right after the last race, the fastest 4 cars were preparing to take a "victory lap" and one of the kids knocked over the track and broke the 1st place car and Thing 1's. They took it a little rough but in the end Thing 1 and the 1st place kid were good friends.

We found we like fresh sheep's milk.IT WAS SUPER GOOD.
Princess 3 is almost (finally) sitting up on her own.
Book of the Week: The Chocolate Touch. (a children's book) Mommy started the first chapter by feeding the kids a chocolate chip every time she said the word "chocolate"...That ended after chapter 2...4 kids multplied by 723 occurances of the word chocolate = kids asleep at 11:45 pm...no good. Just kidding. It was not that bad.
