It seemed like a good idea at the time...

What would cause someone to take 4 kids and one very pregnant woman camping to a place called a "rain"-forest thinking it would be an enjoyable experience. Whatever form of insanity I was temporally plagued with is now passed. We are home and dried out. Mommy has never been so grateful for her snugly mattress and close bathroom.

The family went camping Thursday and Friday night this week and visited some friends on the coast. It was actually fairly good weather and we did have fun. We love having the pop-up trailer. Thanks again Mom and Dad. It survived another 350 mile trip.

The kids beach combed off of one of the largest spits in the world, had their camp-fire (there is a burn ban in all the campgrounds outside of the rainforest and they almost went camping without a fire this trip), and got wet and dirty playing in the moss and on the huge logs.

Mommy and Daddy survived it all...

Good to see you Chris and Rachel. We will let you treat us out to ice-cream anytime!

Favorite foods this week: Mommy made Zucchini "Martian" cookies with Cinnamon chips

Least favorite Food...Oyster PorBoy Sandwich...wow that was bad but the clam chowder and rootbeer made up for it.
