Next up...Labor Day....

We have 2 main objectives to complete before Labor Day. Fittingly, they could be labeled "Daddy labor" and "Mommy labor". Daddy wants to finish 90% of the interior house renovation projects and Mommy will be finished with her "little project" by then. Luckily, Daddy has some vacation time to burn in between then and now so we may just make it on the house thing....

For the 4th we went to the kid's first summer time fireworks display at the lake.We were about as close as you could get to the dock they launched them from. At the festivities they had bouncy houses and games for the kids, live music and food vendors. We brought glow sticks and snacks to wait for the show but next year, I think we need to bring the whole flipping BBQ and entertainment center like everyone else.  

Once the fire works started Princess 1 was the only one scared for the first few minutes. The rest of the kids loved them from start to finish.

Jun 26th, National Chocolate Pudding Day

Other things going on....
The kid's favorite thing to do currently is ride their bikes in a parking lot down the hill from us after business hours. Thing 2 is pretty speedy...Thing 1 has a hard time keeping up.

Our single pumpkin plant it trying to take over the front yard.

The grey squirrel in the back yard has eaten his last apple off my tree. I am dawning on the gillie suit next time I see him and I'm going Rodent Rambo on his tail!
