It's the thought that counts....

"It's the thought that counts"....We use the phrase to excuse the less thoughtful people in our lives for neglecting to do something  that they later admit the wish they had done. Boiled down to its essence we know talk is cheap but we let them slide by with their lip service because we know they are schleps and love them anyways.

I hereby inform all loved ones that I am invoking the "It's the thought that counts" clause for the following 3 areas this holiday season:
  1. Christmas cards. Yep...They are not in the mail yet...Mommy got them, we just didn't get around to sending them.
  2. Christmas cookies. We made some and here is a little ditty to show them off but we ate them. Tasted good too. Maybe you could just imagine the taste of them and think of this as a virtual Christmas card.. Remember, It's the thought that counts Right?

       3. Mommy's and Daddy's Christmas presents...(explanation to follow)
