Awaiting Marching Orders

So this week was the last week of Mom's spring break before the final stretch of her dental hygiene schooling. Even though it is far from over we are starting to see light from around the tunnels bend and it began a conversation around here about what is next in our series of adventures. We have a split camp. We will call camp 1)"Whoa!" and camp 2) "Onward!". The Whoas are in favor of sticking around here for a bit longer, maybe finding a different house with a bit more elbow room but staying basically here for a few more years. The Onwards are ready to see new scenery either going west toward the ocean or east to the drier side of the state. The Conference/Easter weekend has been nice to reflect and seek out a bit-o-direction from the Captain. No orders yet but I for one feel like they are awaiting signatures on a big white desk somewhere.

From here it only takes about 10 minutes to bounce out into some more rural settings and so Wed we just went a cruising without a focused plan. We ended up toward St. Helens and we all agree we live in a beautiful area. Blooming trees and greenery and lakes everywhere, farmland and rivers, and a mountain or two within view on the clear days. We ended up making a loop around hwy 503, skipping stones at Speelyia park, and grabbing an icecream cone from the dairy queen. We came to the conclusion that we don't need to live too far out of town from where we are to find a nice spot if we choose to stay.

Marshall: Starting on April 27th I'm going back to school five days a week (about time), previously, I have been going to school two days a week (monday tuesday) and I'm happy and all about that, but only half of the school gets to go at a time, and two days a week isn't the best because I can only see my favorite teacher once a week(welding). now the whole school will be able to go and I'll be able to go to welding five times a week. This next week is my spring break, so that's fun.

Emmet (I think that is the name Maddison is sticking with) of course keeps growing and we all visited on Friday. he is beginning to be mobile but seems to prefer to just chill in any available lap.

He should be coming home on April 26thish.

Great Uncle Charlie and Aunt Chris dropped by with Easter goodies, games and stuffed bunnies. The Airzookas have been getting a ton of use around here and we all seem to be experiencing the random puff of wind from across the room. We also discovered and then immediately banned the practice of filling the cannon with a "scent of choice" for olfactory projectile launch. Thanks again for the visit guys!

brushing bunny belly....brushing bunny butt....during conference. Happy Easter?
