The Name Game

The biggest argument this week in the house started over what to name him...

Here is the list so far:

  • Reggie
  • Theodore
  • Treavor
  • Rico
  • Raul
  • Pedro
  • Pepe
  • Tater-tot
  • Toffee

He is growing!

A few that fell out of favor over time:

Mando
Teancum
Smudge
Oatmeal
Claymore

Millie was not too sure about the baby goats....but Zach was!

This last week was a tough one for a few of us adulting around here. Bus driving is tough with the crazy schedule the school board is putting the community into. I stirred the pot a bit trying to get the drivers to go on strike for "ALL DAY SCHOOL" per contract conditions but, simply put, unions are corrupt and are more interested in what their political machine dictates than what their members actually need...Surprise, surprise.  Instead I put in my 2 weeks notice and was called into the office to see if anything could be worked out. We will see....

Mommy had 3 clinic days, and it was a lot of work. Both Marshall and Dad took turns in the chair to help provide warm bodies for skill assessments. Mommy is ready for spring break.

Marshall went to school for the 1st time in a year for freshman orientation. He has a few friends that ride the bus in with him and he has one of the coolest teachers he thinks he has ever had as his welding teacher. Thank goodness!

Zach built pocket rockets at activities and shot marshmallows at his friends all evening.

Madison started her illustrious dog training career at a friend's house this week. She taught one of the 3 dogs there to "sit", another to "leave-it" and "stay". They are a bit spastic and the training will not be reinforced after she leaves so it probably will require more "visits".

Millie had it rough this week (sad face) because of the wacked schedules she missed her dance class twice. Sorry Millie.

Eleanor liked the walks this week around town. The weather was very nice some days and we collected cans and went to the animal hospital in search for a future vet.

Side Notes: Ticket to Ride needs a new trading rule. We bent a ton of the rules to make Mommy happy.
