Later Ya'll

As a family on Saturday we helped with a church service project at cemetery down the hill. We were just trimming hedges, picking up old flowers and decorations, and scrubbing headstones but it was probably a pretty natural tendency after looking at hundreds of plot markers to start thinking about what you want for your own. Here is what was decided.
Marshall:
Here lies Marshal: "Awesomest person in the world"
(And by "lies" I think he means telling an untruth I believe...)

Zachery is immortal in his own mind so such things are of no concern to him.

Madison has not decided what she wants on it but it should be a pink and purple rock.

Mommy and Daddy are going to share a stone (Mommy thinks it is symbolic and Daddy likes the idea because it is cheaper that way). Mommy wants a scripture or something that mentions Christ so I think 1 Corinthians 15:22 would work (Madison shared it in a talk today in Primary) but on my side of the stone I want to put "Later Ya'll"...That is the redneck version of 1 Corinthians 15:22. I also think it would be fun to make my own headstone and make it a puzzle or a Geocache or something entertaining...

Other events:
On a family bike ride around neighborhood this week we had the 1st annual Family Bike Race. Every participant gave it their all and the ranking was very important for some parties so here I must mention it. Team Daddy consisting of the Tim The Tire Treading Titan with Millie and Eleanor as his faithful entourage in tow via chariot came in 1st place. It was disputed to great lengths at how the ranking should occur but the official outcome was released as Marshall in 4th place. This created a small stir and one disgruntled race team but everyone else agreed to be publicized as "honorable mentions". Marshall was insistent that he be recognized for his achievement so herein it is officially stated. Congratulations Marshall on 4th place. (your baby sisters beat you...)

Marshall also wanted to mention he is starting a new book series (reading not writing) called Hereo's of Olympus

Mommy worked a few hours for a local Dentist. She was nervous about assisting again after a decade long sabbatical but was excited to learn she didn't forget that much and new skills are going to be easy enough to learn. Mommy rocks.
