Trying to catch up

So, Time to play catch-up since we missed a week or two...

Had a wedding reception and a funeral to attend this weekend. Brother Rosengren passed away earlier last week and The Clair's had their 1st of 9 kids married off this weekend. We attended both events and were grateful to help a bit with preparations for both gatherings.

We had a little project this last week with a temporary redneck yard score bonus. Daddy picked up some free bricks off Craigslist to build a more permanent fire pit in the backyard. Mommy was not too happy about it at first and said something like "just because it's free doesn't mean it's worth bring home". She is a good sport because she and the kids helped move them to the backyard. We need to get some mortar and figure out it's final spot and that is when unfortunately our redneck score will decrease because we will loose our current old 55 gallon burn barrel fire pit...

Before we leave on vacation we have a science fair project to complete with Marshall. He wanted to make a volcano and I thought that that might be a little out of my current capabilities to assist him with ( my deep boring drill rig is in the shop) so we are just going to create a small batch of lava instead. Wish us luck.

Book of the week: King Hugo's Huge Ego | Chris Van Dusen
Food of the weeks: Lumpia, Thanks Ed! Dinner was awesome and we had it at the Clair's reception too!
Word of the week: YAHUAHSHUA ...met a very interesting feller with this on his jacket and had to ask. Interesting phlisophy of man mingled with scripture but I think he missed the mark...
